ISIFS-2022 will be held as a hybrid (online and face to face) symposium. All papers will go through the review process. Papers can be presented as oral or poster. Extended abstract and full text papers will be published in the proceedings book.

Author Guideliness
Symposium languages are Turkish and English. Extended abstracts should be maximum 1000 words, and full-text papers should be no more than 8,000 words, excluding references.
In the abstract, the aim of the study, the research method, the results and the contributions of the study should be stated. The summaries uploaded to the system should include the following:
- The title of the study,
- Author(s) name, surname, title, institution, e-mail address, ORCID ID,
- Purpose of the study,
- Method,
- Results,
- Literature contribution,
- Keywords (3-4)

Presentations
Sessions will be held online and face-to-face. Online submissions will be made via appropriate programmes and announced later.
The maximum time to be allocated for each presentation is fifteen-minutes. After the presentation, there will be a five-minute Q&A session.

Full Text Papers
Extended abstracts, posters and full-text papers will be published in the Symposium Proceedings Book. Optionally, full-text papers will be published as an international book chapter after the referee processes are completed.

Ethics
 Full text papers should be checked for plagiarism through plagiarism check programs such as iThenticate, Turnitin or intihal.net. Plagiarism check should be done by excluding "quotations, parts of the text with less than 5 words overlapping and bibliography". The similarity ratio should be 20% and below. Full text papers above this rate will not be reviewed.
 
For research requiring an ethics committee decision, ethics committee approval must be obtained and ethical committee approval must be indicated and documented. Ethics committee approval, must be uploaded to the submission system in the same file with paper submitted.
